No more limp mode

Diesel particulate filter faults
DPF light on, limp mode, regeneration that never finishes? Most DPF faults are caused by something else — a sensor, an EGR fault, short journeys. We find the cause, force a regeneration where it is safe to, and only then talk about anything else.
DPF solutions
A diesel particulate filter traps soot and burns it off during regeneration, which needs sustained speed and temperature. Short journeys, a faulty pressure sensor, a sticking EGR valve or an injector problem all stop regeneration finishing — and the filter fills.
Fit a new filter without fixing that cause and it blocks again. So we start with live data: differential pressure, exhaust temperatures, soot and ash loading, and the faults that are really driving the problem.
Where the filter is serviceable we can run a forced regeneration on site and reset adaptations after repairs. For off-road, motorsport and export vehicles we can supply DPF solutions in software — never for a vehicle used on UK roads.
The law, plainly: removing or disabling a DPF, EGR or AdBlue/SCR system on a vehicle used on UK public roads is illegal and is an MOT failure. We diagnose and repair the fault first. Removal solutions are supplied only for off-road, motorsport and export vehicles, and we will ask you to confirm that before any work is done.
The result
Fix the root cause and the warning stays off.
Many "blocked" filters only need the fault fixed and a regeneration.
You see the live data and the reason, not just a price.
We come to the car — no recovery truck needed.
How it works
Warning lights, limp mode, journey patterns — it all helps.
We read the faults and the sensor data to find the real cause.
Repair advice or work, forced regeneration, adaptations reset.
Questions
Usually short journeys, or a fault stopping regeneration — a sensor, the EGR valve or an injector. We find which one before anything else.
We can run a forced regeneration on site when the readings show it is safe to. Heavily ash-loaded filters may need off-car cleaning or replacement.
Not on a vehicle used on UK roads — it is illegal and an MOT failure. DPF solutions are supplied only for off-road, motorsport and export use.
A good file can reduce soot production, but it will not fix a failed sensor or a blocked filter. Diagnosis comes first.
Typically 20 to 40 minutes, depending on the vehicle and soot load.
